Now THIS was a very pleasant surprise. I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen such a collection of reconstructed retro advertisements before in one place. And that place is 📍the @tikileesdock .
I had no idea this waterside bar in Sparrows Point even existed. One of those cool come by car or come by boat places that are prevalent around the Chesapeake Bay. I was doing kind of an odd Dundalk area bike ride and trying to stay away from traffic and so was riding down 📍Morse Lane. I saw a sign for the place and figured hey let’s check it out. Not open for the season yet, but it looks like they just did a whole bunch of renovation and it’s gonna be opening soon. Check out their IG account.
Anyway, back to the art. All of these are on the outside of a fence facing the parking lot. And again, no artist signatures although I’m suspecting that one person did them all. Anyone else know anymore about this?

Nothing huge or super high up in this batch, just a lot of quality throws and other really fun stuff.
Finally managed to pull the car over to the side of the JFX and get out to get some closer shots of the five murals recently commissed by the city at the Maryland Ave overpass. This is the one by GAIA, which resides direct under the overpass.
It is all one mural, but unless standing in the middle of oncoming traffic impossible to get the wall in one shot. As is everything by this artist, masterfully executed.
Last Saturday a whole bunch of BARKS’ friends came out once again at Graffiti Alley to pay tribute in an event organized by the deceased writer’s parents.
Although I know a few of the writers/artists who took part, this is a no faces / no names post.

Was cycling around Dundalk yesterday and came across really well executed mural… NOT signed. (C’mon artists, sign your work! 😝) Painted for the A Step Ahead Childcare center📍at 211 Wise St.

Really cool small bird mural discovered in Graffiti Alley last weekend. Painted by @camer1sf , you must’ve been visiting from San Fran. It’s beautifully rendered. I hope he put up more stuff in other parts of the city!
I was at Graffiti Alley for a tribute event for graffiti writer BARKS, which I’ll be posting soon as soon as I can get unobstructed final pics, which is not easy in that area.
