I am very happy to be part of this exhibition. Thank you to @elliereid.art and @jen_moore_print of @changeable_beast for giving me an opportunity to exhibit my ‘Wormhole Detector’ .
I will be invigilating on Sunday morning so if you are in the neighbourhood come and say ‘Hello’.
Introducing Seona Myerscough who is exhibiting as part of ‘So Where Do We Go From Here?’ invited by @jenmooreprint and @elliereid.art of @changeable_beast
Seona makes sculptural assemblages combining handmade and found elements to create speculative devices exploring time, memory and uncertainty through absurd, low-fi constructions that sit between function and failure.
The Wormhole Detector is an instrument designed to locate fragments of the past and future, using improvised sensory components and unstable structures, gathering information to make sense of the present.

A lot has been happening recently and much is yet to come. For some updates have a look at my website…link in bio…May and June are busy 🙌🏻 will get up to speed with my posting 🤩
Performance is rooted in Changeable Beast shows. Here is our very own Seona Myerscough @themiddleroomno9 who performed at UBIK @hyphastudios venue in Stratford London @sugarhouseisland a year ago. Changeable Beast have been busy planning their programme for the next 2 years so watch this space. Website also about to launch #changeablebeast #sculptureisperformance
New Year sketching and making plans for new work… a bit of clowning, perhaps.
I’m interested in the absurdity of the clown — repetition, humour, and failure and how these become ways of persisting when meaning feels unstable and the world itself feels absurd.
Merry Christmas from Seona, Barney, and Mo … temporarily transformed into Christmas baubles for the season…hopefully returning to normal operations in the New Year.

Sculpture is comic
It can fall apart, rebuild, try again, or be lost under a bucket.
Changeable Beast celebrates the humour.
