You’ve seen us say “QT” a lot… so it’s time to explain what it really means.
I live a lot in my own head, and sometimes I forget not everyone speaks the same language (lol).
So here it is what QT stands for at The Meet QT.
Take your time with this one. And I’ll see you at the next gathering. 🖤
Here’s to sharing my hopes and dreams with you.
I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know this: I am more present than ever.
And I believe it’s time to bring back and celebrate the uniqueness the world is slowly trying to strip away from us.
One gathering at a time.
I invite you to join me on this journey. Come to the gatherings. Don’t be shy. We want you to feel at home to feel free, to let it all hang.
We have a range of beautiful, fun, and intentional moments lined up for you. So follow us, stay close, keep your eyes open.
Because it’s really going to be QT.
You can already mark your calendar: May 2nd. What exactly? That will be revealed soon.
Like the first gathering, access will be through a Google Form, and the location will remain secret shared only with those who sign up, 24 hours before the event.
Lastly, I want to thank everyone who has poured into me, supported me, and held space for me allowing me to start this journey and trust wherever it may lead.

The Meet QT: Queer & Trans Gathering
Today’s Pride day in Belgium. And at The Meet QT: a Queer & Trans gathering we find it important to celebrate. But also to remember the history and the people who came before us, who made this day possible all over the world.
Because whether you want it or not, Pride is political. It’s a form of resistance. One that maybe lost some of its initial political edge because of capitalism but one that can never stop being political. Because existing, and choosing the freedom to be who you are and love who you want, is resistance.
Choosing love, kindness and community are our strongest weapons against the current threats to our freedom.
Whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Asexual, Intersex or the + : we all want the same thing. The freedom to be and love who we want.
So as you walk the streets of Brussels today: smile at strangers. Spread love. Laugh out loud. Be proud of what makes you unique. Of what makes you stand out. Because that’s exactly what we love here at The Meet QT.
Be safe today. Watch out for each other even strangers, even people who aren’t your friends yet. 🌈🤍
And in the spirit of celebration and pride we are beyond excited to announce our curation for Sonic Saturday, hosted by @kunstenfestivaldesarts and curated by us. 🎉
We’re bringing an all-Queer lineup that lives and breathes The Meet QT philosophy: intentional, electric, and unapologetically us.
Expect energetic DJ sets that will keep your body moving from start to finish.

For our 2nd gathering, we’re hosting our very first Juke Jam🎶
To open this journey, there was no album more fitting than BLOOM by Bernard Durand. A Black Queer artist who takes us through a deeply personal journey of self-discovery and self-mastery.
Because of the themes held in this project, this gathering will be an Exclusive space for the Black Queer community.
We want to honor a story that feels close to us, and take a moment to celebrate his Grammy win as well!
On a practical note, you can sign up for this gathering through the Google Form in our bio. Make sure to keep an eye on your email, as all final details will be shared 24 hours before the event.

At The Meet QT: A Queer & Trans Gathering, we’ve been thinking a lot about something simple yet powerful: bringing back Quality Time. And honestly, nothing holds space like music does.
So we’re introducing: Juke Jams🎶
A Juke Jam is exactly what it sounds like. An intentional gathering where we come together to REALLY listen. Not just background noise, but deep listening. We’ll sit with an album from start to finish, the way many artists intended their projects to be experienced.
That said, not every gathering will be a Juke Jam, and not every Juke Jam will be for everyone. While music is universal, some themes and albums speak to specific lived experiences, and we want to honor that. We’ll always share clear info about who each gathering is for, so you can find the spaces that resonate with you.
If anything feels unclear or you’re curious, our DMs are always open 💌
And if you feel called to be part of making these moments happen, you can sign up to volunteer and support before, during, or after each gathering.

@hisokasartre@TheMeetQT : an afternoon to meet, talk, exchange stories, and be in the presence of other Black Queer people.
Together, we create a space of care born from the mixture of our experiences: one we can all enjoy, carry forward, and pass down to the youngsters and new arrivals who come after us.
We welcome Black Queer people at all stages of their journey, from first steps to long-held experience.
This is a space for Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, non-binary, agender, intersex, and questioning people.
Come and participate in shaping something deeply ours.
𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ? Will be announced to the participants upon registration! But don’t worry, we’re staying in Brussels.
