In honours of Mother’s Day being yesterday I’m honouring all of the seasons that I have been in as a mom. I’m officially 2 years postpartum and this experience was so different than the others. Pregnancy was harder. Charlie was a giant baby. Life was/is busier. With my other two pregnancies, I really felt like myself again at that 2 year mark. This time around it’s taken longer, but I’m at peace with it. I have had a lot of moments of frustration and moments of gratitude. I showed up tired. I showed up for physio. I showed up to the gym with my gym bag, diaper bag, pump, pack n play, plus 10 other things. I showed up for myself and my family. I rebuilt my strength and didn’t care about how much I weighed. I cared about nourishing my body and being strong. I have some big goals for myself as I close this postpartum chapter (but also still postpartum for life), but also super proud of how far I have come in these 2 years 🫶

Overnight Carrot Cake Oats
• 1 cup quick oats
• 1 cup milk
• ¼ cup chia seeds
• 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
•1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp cinnamon + 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 4 medjool dates, pitted and chopped
• 1 ½ cups grated carrot (about 1 medium carrot)
• 4 scoops collagen or 1/2 cup protein powder
• ½ cup greek or coconut yogurt
• ¼ cup hemp seeds
• ¼ cup walnuts
SAVE to make for next travel or camp session
This is my new obsession. It makes my hips feel bullet proof!
You can do this without a weight. And id recommend you start with that. Then build up.
