I’m marching towards 40 on a mission to be in the best shape of my life. The biggest lesson I’ve learned: as we age, the training needs to change. I can’t workout like I did when I was younger. This means being smart about progressing weights, mobility, and prioritizing recovery.

Parenting is hard. It makes working out seem easy. You can do this sh*t too.
Don’t be scurry. Move laterally, and then scale that weight up. Life moves in all planes of motions so train like it. Combining movements like this with traditional lifts is how you look and feel good. Pair this with solid nutrition, and you’re elite.

My life is not a highlight reel, and you need to know that. Why? Because I don’t think it’s fair to make it look easy. None of you have an easy life, so don’t let social media make you feel like you’re not doing a good job. You’re killing it.
You can’t Botox your posture. Movement quality is something that must be worked on, and it’s the key to reversing the clock if you feel old. Most people live with tight/weak hips. Tons also sit around all day with hunched shoulders. You’re aging faster if this isn’t something you’re working on. The good news is that it doesn’t take hours of mobility work. Five to 10 minutes a few times per week can change your life. Make it a priority and turn back the clock.
