Big thanks to everyone that came out and made our latest edition of SUNDAY SAUCE a success. Because things come by the case you can always guarantee a couple things post SUNDAY SAUCE @themacri will be making tiramisu for a few more days and @notorious_erb will have some extra fun wines on the list. And for an extra special treat we are offering a few of those wines at 50% off tonight like this gem made by Antonino Caravaglio and Giuseppe Mascoli of Sicily’s Ancestrale wine. Full menu until 1 am with drinks until 2am

24 hours away from the next @royaltavern SUNDAY SAUCE. Ringing in spring after what felt like an extended cut of winter. Spring vegetable minestra finding its way on the menu with our watermelon radish carpaccio. Fun starts at 5pm tomorrow. 🫔

Another pasta dish for this weeks @royaltavern SUNDAY SAUCE. A white lasagna with @wearethepastalab fresh pasta layered with béchamel, fontina, mozzarella, pecorino romano and grana padano. This one is super rich and good for sharing each portion is coming in at about pound each! See you Sunday. 🫔

We are a little less than one week away from our next installment of SUNDAY SAUCE. Although the menus and the themes for these changes. There will always be a few constants: good food, good drink, good times and TIRAMISU!!!! It will be back on the menu this Sunday and probably a couple days after too because we can only buy the mascarpone by the case but you should probably come on Sunday just to be safe. Until then our regular menu until 1am with drinks until 2am.

One of the pasta courses for next week’s SUNDAY SAUCE at @royaltavern . Lamb ragu with peas and @wearethepastalab Campanella pasta. Ground lamb legs and shoulders cooked down with sofrito, rosemary, white wine finished with some peas, a touch of butter and pecorino Romano. If you ever see @wearethepastalab at a farmers market or on a shelf do yourself a favor and buy it. High quality stuff made by people that really care. See yous next Sunday 🫔

Next @royaltavern Sunday Sauce is a little over a week away and it’s all about spring. Is there more spring time protein than lamb? For one of our large plate offerings we’ll have a braised lamb shank. This guy is cooked down with some crushed jersey tomatoes, roasted veggies, calabrian chilies and rosemary. Served over some greens cooked down with possibly too much garlic and white wine but you can judge for yourself on April 12th. 🫔 also thanks to @oliviahsmithdesign for the latest Sunday sauce artwork because people are so much cooler than AI

The pies have come and gone, and we’re already looking ahead to the next installment of SUNDAY SAUCE. Like most of you, we’re thinking about and seriously yearning for spring. 🌱 SUNDAY SAUCE PRIMAVERA is set for Sunday, April 12th. @themacri is working on a menu to pull us out of the winter slump, while @notorious_erb is putting together a lineup of easy drinking vermouths, aperitifs, and wines from Sicily and Sardinia. Another @royaltavern PIE WAY TO HELL in the books and this one was good. So good I didn’t take a single decent picture. Big thanks to everyone that came out to support and of course the staff that make these things happen. Shout out to @malachyjames for this year’s design so much cooler than anything we could have generated with prompts. We’re already thinking about next year and maybe having some guest spots open if anyone is interested. 🫔
