as i’m trying to build up my #kidlit portfolio i thought it would be fun to take part in the #addcharacter2026 background challenge that @housecatillustration is hosting. i wanted to play with the scale and perspective on this one while keeping the palette and the background fairly simple - i think i could have pushed it even further but im ok with this as a first try. what do you think?
