It’s nearly our 11th anniversary, which is wild!
The past five years have been some of the hardest we’ve ever experienced - our industry has changed in so many ways, some wonderful, some incredibly challenging. What we’ve noticed through the years is our team’s ability to arrive each day to create and inspire each other to keep exploring what The Mackenzie Room is. This collective drive is the energy our guests feel when they walk in the door and what has made it such a special place for us.
When we built The Mackenzie Room our idea was simple. To create a place we would want to visit over and over again.
11 years later, when a guest is looking to celebrate and tells their friends “I know a place”, it feels like a nod to the years of hard work. Our room is small, but it’s a got a big heart.

Chess Pie // A simple, staple dessert of the south. Ours is made with a buttermilk and cornmeal filling, rhubarb puree and then topped with a cornflake crumble. All fruit pies need ice cream with it. This one is vanilla, olive oil and sea salt.
