We couldn’t be more proud of the work that we’ve done that put women at the centre of the campaign. But we will never forget all the fun we had on set alongside these confident, hilarious, talented women and our crew ♥️ 1. The coolest visual that the Styling team put together. This one’s been hard to keep under wraps. From working on the idea in Dubai, presenting the pitch to the Amsterdam team from Halifax to learning we had won it in Toronto, this has definitely been a whirlwind. It feels surreal. And even more so that this would be The LBSTR’s first ever project we put out. We can’t be more excited to share our first ever brand film for Nike Style By - Director’s Cut. We got to work on a brand that’s close to our hearts and shoot the campaign in a place that’s even closer. (Secretly, Ekta has been dreaming this up for years now). Shot in the streets of Old Dubai, we wanted to create a juxtaposition of visuals while paying homage to a part of the city that isn’t seen onscreen too much. An homage to the women of the city who reinvent themselves and stand out in style amidst the chaos around them. Still pinching ourselves, grateful for such a crazy opportunity. Thank you @wildcamelfilm for being our partners on this crazy ride, thank you to the Nike team for trusting us and the amazing crew without whom none of this would be possible. When we first began building our website, we fell into traps of the usual. Who We Are. What We Do. What We Offer, etc. Nothing wrong with a good old formula but it’s honestly not who we are. We wanted people to enter our website and simply get to know us. As if they’ve come home for dinner and a conversation. They’ve looked around and asked us questions like ‘Is that really a Notting Hill Poster?’ (Yes it is. ‘I am just a girl standing in front of a boy...' is the scene that always gets Robert). So here it is, our website is live. You can stop by to say hello, explore or simply catch some lobsters 🦞

Collectively, we own about 613 books. At any given time, there is an unspoken rule that deems the one who reads the most amount of books in a year as the superior being. Robert’s been winning most years. Mostly, because he’s uber competitive. But he has yet to win a game of Scrabble against Ekta. The words somehow balance themselves out. Needless to say, we are both obsessed with a good story. (And strategy) PS: Anyone out there needs a reading recommendation, just ask.

We are The LBSTR. A Strategist & Filmmaker duo. One an artist, the other an analyst. (Although to be fair, the two tend to overlap) We are Robert Habib and Ekta Saran, who also happen to be life partners. Both obsessed with a good story - how to arrive at it, craft it and tell it to the world. We can’t wait to do the same for you!
