My night in Emerald City with The Society 🌃
my ears were ringing + I tried to silence the horns with shots. I couldn’t tell if I was crying or laughing in some moments. I couldn’t tell if I was falling or rising. Did I go too deep to fly? I ask myself over and over again…WHAT NOW?
A night packed of memories I’m still dissecting. Thank you Bishop for allowing me a safe landing in your world…To create. To find. To fall. To fly.
Sometimes you have to touch grass.

as y’all know, I stopped titling my work. the name reveals itself to who it belongs to. I’m just the vessel painting the energy
but the energy of this piece… it speaks on US.
women as seeds. As we are the carriers of life. The seed, the womb, and the creation.
This piece is a reminder that us as women gather in the soil together we create a garden that every woman can eat from.
CreateHER is a living example of this garden that began with a seed of faith, vision, and intention. @thebessgirl_ you did your big one fr!!
thank you CREATEHER for allowing me to set up shop with you and be at home with my passion.
What I witnessed that day will be a core memory for me.
The laughs, the dancing, meeting nü visionaries - it was a TIME !!
Today, I read a letter I written to myself almost two years ago.
and man…
a moment for sure
It’s beautiful to see the seeds I planted with a blind eye and pure heart come to full bloom.
It was a balanced reminder between “you always know” and “you don’t have to know everything to BE everything”
In this space + time I have found a new key.
Another one.
This key tho…only works with intention.
Unlocking the whispers I heard but once could not fully comprehend.
I have community now. An answered prayer. That I finally see now that my eyes have been rewired by alignment.
So many beautiful moments and memories have been playing in my mind. There’s not many digital/physical proof but man…my heart is touched. I love my friends bruh.
These nü pieces that I create will be a living proof of these moments- created by something other than pain and confusion.
The “letting go” has produced more life than I actually imagined.
Praise God.

The year in bloom event hosted by @createherco__ was truly amazing. @thebessgirl_ put together such a beautiful event for the creative women of charlotte.
It was such an honor to watch Kai complete the live painting. And I had so much fun assisting and watching everyone come and add their touch to the painting. #charlottecreatives #communitypainting #paintings
