Over the past few years, Iāve noticed something, many brides wish they had the opportunity to be photographed in their dress outside of the wedding day.
The pace of a wedding is different. It moves quickly. Itās emotional, unpredictable. And while that has its own beauty, it doesnāt always allow for a more intentional, artful study of the person wearing the dress.
A dedicated studio session changes that.
For this shoot, we brought together an incredible team to create that space for Payton, photographing her in two different dresses, with the time and attention to truly explore the portrait.

What we created together is a collection of timeless, fine-art portraits - and this is a small look into how it came together.

Today is my Motherās 65th birthday! The woman who taught me how to understand and trust my emotions. Sheās taught me how to be kind, passionate and empathetic. Love you Mom!

While I donāt think 2024 was a particularly spectacular year for new music, I still found myself interacting and loving this art-form just as much as ever!
From hosting my first ever radio show (h/t @bffdotfm@lindoselects ), to countless concerts (Feist -unreal-, Confidence Man at the Indy -what energy-, Rx Bandits playing āThe Resignationā, and even a friend of mine playing with White Denim!) and adding to my ever-growing vinyl collection.
The music wouldnāt be the same without all of you as well, and Iām forever grateful to have made all these wonderful memories to look back on.

Albeit a bit of a crappy week mentally, and a tricky year for my physical health, I still had a blast and Iām thankful for everyone who has had an impact on my life! Yāall know who you are.
So good to see friends and family down in LA as well as my crew in SF that come out for election night! 2024 was was a bit of a weird one in many ways (and Iām especially missing those that moved away in the past year) but Iām looking forward to good times in 2025!
