Hey what’s up,
It’s Billy. It’s March. We put out Hit Piece last year. Putting out a record always sucks. It’s just kind of a perpetual heartbreak when you watch it head out into the world and it immediately has to get a job at a call center. But I think it’s the best one we’ve made so far.
I put out five beat tapes this fall and winter as Billy Ghost, but over Thanksgiving, we (the fellas) sat down and figured out what’s next and how to get there. I’m currently on “Idea 25” of demos. I know exactly what the thing will be but still have no idea how it will sound. I think it’s going to have to be an EP just because of budget. But just know we’re still at it over here.
Hope you’re able to find some good in this brutal timeline. It’ll be a while, but we’ll be back.

Listen. We're well aware that everything is a pile of hot trash right now. Doom-scrolling the internet for 5 minutes these days puts you in a spot that would usually take thousands of dollar of therapy to recover from. But today is Billy's birthday, and it just so happens that our record "Hit Piece" is finally for sale, on vinyl, on our website. With t-shirts. And there's nothing better to distract yourself from a growing threat of authoritarianism than a little *retail* therapy. Also, today is Billy's birthday.
