Happy Snow Day! ❄️
Due to the weather, The Jervey will be closed tonight, Sunday, 1/25.
UPDATE: We will also be closed Monday, 1/26.
Wishing everyone a safe and cozy weekend to enjoy the snow!
Our Spinach “Toaster Strudel” is made fresh by our sister restaurant @bellecville every day, and features our creamed spinach inside puff pastry, topped with our house-made truffle butter.
We’ll be serving them all night tonight, and for as long as we can tomorrow! We’re watching the weather this weekend to make sure both our customers and staff are safe. We’ll post any updates as soon as we have them! ❄️
Come join us this New Year’s Eve for dinner and drinks at The Jervey! We’ll have Champagne flowing all night, and we’re offering either a prix fixe menu or our regular a la carte menu. Reservations are currently available on Resy, and our bar is always first come first served!
We’re ready. After months of preparation and weeks of (very normal but still trying) setbacks and delays, it’s finally time to welcome everyone into this stunning space.
We’re open tonight and tomorrow from 4:30 until 10ish, closed for a few days to reset, and then ready to roll again on Thursday. You can make a reservation on the @resy app, or feel free to just drop by. We’ll have the @uvafootball game on at the full service bar, plenty of cocktails and great bottles of wine to open, and of course, lots of decadent, delicious food to eat.
If you’re in Belmont, pop in, say hello, and grab a bite. We’d love to see you.
❤️ The Jervey
WE ARE HIRING! Opening is nearly upon us! Most of our core opening staff is in place, but there are a few positions still to fill! Chefs, line cooks, servers, bartenders, dishwashers, food runners, back waiters, prep cooks… if you are a professional restaurant person looking for a change of scenery, we want to hear from you.
Please send your resume to [email protected] with a brief introduction and what you’re looking for, and we’ll reach back out to you by the end of the week!
Mother of 6, Grandmother of 8, Great Grandmother of 11, Jean Jervey Fraser lived every moment of her 104 years. She was wife to 2 husbands who fought on the line during WWII, one not returning. She went from beauty-pageant-queen-like highs, to pinching pennies in order to put food on her family’s table like lows. She credited her long life to having a great attitude, and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.
The Jervey invokes Jean’s belief that every day can be a good day, and that any moment in life can be turned into a good experience. Our Belmont Steakhouse combines modern style with a neighborhood coziness that compliments the vibrant surrounding hospitality scene. It’s about delicious food, warm conviviality, and great people.
Welcome.
