DAY 16 UPDATE: 761 miles down.â
â
After 15 straight days of averaging nearly 50 miles a day, even the most prepared athletes can hit unexpected setbacks.â
â
Thatâs part of the challenge when youâre attempting something as ambitious as a self-supported Appalachian Trail FKT.â
â
Just days after earning his M.D.âand missing his medical school graduation to chase this goalâWill Peterson continues to show the grit, discipline, and resilience that define efforts like this.â
â
Weâre proud to support Will as he works through the highs, the lows, and everything in between.â
â
Keep pushing, Doc. Weâre all rooting for you.â
â
Follow along and cheer him on: @_will.peterson â

First tri of the year is always a love hate relationship. Shaking the dust off is always tough. This year at Tri By Knight was the same. Got a little work todo but overall had a great race. Ended 2nd overall and had a blast seeing everyone and racing with all my friends! #teaminfinitperformance #peakathleticcollective #peakcollective #infinitnutrition
The Dark Side has never tasted this smooth. đâď¸
âEven a Sith needs to stay fueled to rule the galaxy. Powering through the morning with 20g of protein. I find your lack of protein... disturbing

Race day fueling shouldnât feel like a psychological thriller.
If your current plan involves gels, chews, salt tabs, back up salt tabs, math, flavor regret, and a prayer⌠thereâs a better way.
One custom bottle. Built around your calories sweat rate sodium needs flavor, preferences, and gut tolerance.
whatâs your fueling horror movie? đ
50â55 miles a day. For weeks.
Thatâs what it takes to chase a self-supported Appalachian Trail FKT.
Will Peterson is deep in it right now. Moving all day, managing fatigue, and staying on top of the one thing that canât slip:
fueling.
When youâre out there that long, thereâs no room for guesswork.
Heâs relying on INFINIT to keep it consistent â calories, hydration, electrolytes â all in one bottle, hour after hour.
No missed calories. No gut issues. No slowing down.
Weâll be following this one closely. You should too â @_will.peterson

Infinit custom blend helped me to complete 4 hour ride and 45 min run. No gels or bars. @theinfinitloop use code INFINIT-WRIGHT for 15% discount #iaminfinit
As a wise and self-proclaimed 100-mile specialist (@billtiddisthegoat âs brother John) once observed, variety is the spice of life! This wisdom informed my food choices for the 10,000 calories per day that I will be eating while trying to set the AT record. The plan is to vary the flavor profiles as much as possible without compromising on the necessary macros. Here we go through everything thatâll be in my pack on a given day!
Iâll have lots of food on the AT, but there are lots of displaced people in Lebanon who donât have reliable access to food right now. Please consider donating in the link in my bioâjust $20 can feed a family of 4 for a full week!
Thanks to @theinfinitloop for supporting my nutrition on the AT!
So much better than gels.â
Their words, not ours. đâ
â
GO FAR is our original Preset formula built for athletes who want steady fuel for long rides and runs without juggling a pile of gels, chews, and salt tabs.â
â
More simple.â
Less junk in your pockets.â
More time focusing on the effort.â
â
Thatâs the whole idea.â
â
If youâve never tried GO FAR, this is your sign.â

This Earth Day, itâs worth asking what your fuel leaves behind.â
â
When your plan depends on 2â3+ gels per hour, the wrappers add up fast. INFINIT keeps it simple with one reusable bottle per hour for fuel, hydration, and electrolytes.â
â
Less trash. Better fuel. A smarter way to go long.â

Most of you know that my Mt. Charleston marathon from last May gave me a qualifying time for the Boston Marathon. What you may not know is I received the news that I had earned a slot on Sept 22 and on Sept 23 I went for a run while in Luxembourg and fell and landed on my shoulder. I didnât think much of it until I started losing mobility. Turns out I had a tear and needed surgery. Dr. Bill Evans knew what a big event this was for me and worked with his @crosstimbersortho staff to get me on his schedule right away. On Dec 13 he repaired my shoulder and physical therapy at @sportherapypt began a month later. I was unable to run during this time but my coach @lynneanklam worked hard to modify my schedule to get me ready for April 20th. The training plan was accelerated (2 months shorter) but well thought out. I was convinced I would have to run/walk and be happy to just finish. Also during this time Whitni at SporTherapy worked to get my shoulder mobile and my trainer April Keller worked on my core strength along with knees, gluts and quads to ensure a strong race. The days in Boston leading up to the race were filled with delicious food and so many words of encouragement from family, friends and coworkers. And race day was filled with more of the same plus gorgeous weather, incredible crowds along the route and my amazing support crew (costumes included). I was met just before mile 13 by my pit crew with fresh @theinfinitloop fuel, signs, hugs and lots of love. I have never felt so good finishing a marathon even with the late hills between miles 16 and 21 (summitting heartbreak hill was truly incredible). My finish time was not my best but given the circumstances and how strong I felt at the finish I have nothing but gratitude. The emotional hug with Pete at the end should sum it up. Thank you again to those who helped me accomplish this mighty goal, I could not have done it without you. #iaminfinit @bostonmarathon@peakathleticcollective #chasingunicorns đđ
