School may be on break, but learning doesn’t have to be!
Hillsborough County students have access to Read on myON, a free online reading platform full of books they can enjoy anytime, anywhere, even during Thanksgiving break.
From November 22–30, students can join the Fall Reading Challenge and keep their minds active with stories they love. A few minutes of reading each day helps build vocabulary, confidence, and strong literacy skills.
Tip: Set aside 10–15 minutes a day for quiet reading time, it makes a big difference!
Let’s keep our kids engaged, learning, and inspired all week long.

Del 22 al 30 de noviembre, los niños pueden participar en el Reto de Lectura de Otoño y mantenerse activos con historias divertidas y educativas.

From paperclips to people! Our young learners coded their micro:bits to test which materials conduct electricity and learned how circuits make it all flow. Then they held hands to build a “human circuit,” proving teamwork really does make the current flow!

Our Visual Voice program, curated by Dr. Katie, teaches students the fundamentals of digital photography — helping them capture meaningful moments in their lives and write their own photo captions. Each student who completes the program earns their very own digital camera so they can continue expressing themselves creatively!
