Meet The Halfdead: Bryce Pagel is a 39 year old Halfdead Texan. Bryce has been singing in the shower and invading karaoke nights for most of his life and loves that he gets to do it with such talented musicians in The Halfdead.
When not playing music, he can be found kicking anthills or squinting outside of people’s homes.
Meet The Halfdead: Vladimir (Vlad), a 39-year-old Halfdead, originally from Moscow, Russia. Since moving to the U.S. in 2010, he’s called New York City, El Paso, San Francisco, and now Houston home. No matter where life takes him, music, brotherhood, and the connection that comes from being in a band have always been constant.
When he’s not playing guitar, Vlad enjoys traveling, snowboarding, training jiu-jitsu, photography, and disappearing into YouTube deep-dives on ancient civilizations.
Meet The Halfdead: Russ is the youngest of the Halfdead. Originally from Boston, he fell in love with metal when he played air guitar to Black Sabbath’s Iron Man on his Fischer Price read-along cassette deck at 5 years old. It’s been all downhill since.
When he’s not playing guitar, he enjoys a single malt scotch and a supportive pair of Hokas while walking the dog.
Meet The Halfdead: Max Gomez is a 38 year old Halfdead from SoCal. Max has enjoyed recording, touring & teaching music, but most of all, loves the camaraderie of being in a band.
When not playing music, he can be found cramming Orca facts or birdwatching with a BB gun.
Meet The Halfdead: Jason Richardson is a 48 year old Halfdead from the Rocky Mountains. He picked up his first bass guitar at a pawn shop in 1992, at which time a low end love affair was born.
Jason voraciously collects albums and band merch, and zealously supports independent metal and rock artists.
When not playing music, Jason can be found treasure hunting at thrift stores or flipping the bins at local record shops.
