Thank you so much to everyone for the wonderful feedback around the FUTURES 10th birthday Supper Clubs at Lantana! It’s been such a joy to mark our special milestone of the FUTURES network and we’re so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed our evenings together.✨ As part of this series we’ve been joined by some amazing guests including Founder of Lantana and Creative Partner at Dentsu, Caitlin Ryan and current president of WACL and CEO of Digital Cinema Media, Karen Stacey. In July we partnered with the amazing @joinourtable1 to host an evening of connection, conversation, and community. We had the privilege of hearing from Amina Folarin, CEO of Oliver Group, and we wanted to share some of her wisdom for those who couldn’t make it… ✨ What gets measured gets done - if you’re not tracking it, you’re not prioritising it. ✨ Add value first - always lead with generosity and intention. ✨ 5-9 matters as much as the 9-5. What you do outside of work is just as important as what you do inside of it — especially when building a legacy. ✨ Invest in your network and be memorable. Community is your biggest asset, so nurture it with purpose. ✨ We may be underestimated, but we must keep showing up, reminding people that we’re serious about our big dreams. A huge thank you to members Nafissa Norris and Marianne Olaleye for sharing their reflections from the evening, Elizabeth Anyaegbuna Join our Table’s Co-Founder for helping organise the event, and our very own Emma Saddleton for bringing JOT and FUTURES members together for an evening to remember. What a brilliant way to wrap up our 10th birthday supper club series! 🎉 Lastly, a huge thank you to our members who showed up with such openness and intention. We hope to replicate more intimate and valuable events like this in the future. 💜

🎧New podcast episode ALERT! 🎧 We’re diving into the world of mentoring with the incredible Davina Barker from Digital Cinema Media! In this week’s FUTURES Pass It On podcast, Davina shares with our host Adele Rego her 10+ years of mentoring wisdom, including: ✨ The mutual benefits that surprise both mentors and mentees ✨ Why that “big industry name” might NOT be your ideal mentor ✨ How mentoring completely transformed her leadership journey ✨ The exact framework for mentoring success Our favourite piece of advice? To manage your expectations on the mentoring process: “I think it’s really important to be realistic about what your mentor can deliver for you. They are not there to get you a job or for you to use their connections to promote you. They are there to offer you advice and to help you facilitate either a career move or your development.” Thank you Davina and DCM for this engaging and insightful conversation. Hope you all enjoy listening! 🎧 Listen now! Link in bio 👆 💬 Drop a comment: Who’s been your most impactful mentor? We were so excited to have @nishinosh as our speaker at our Winter Fireside Chat and Social the week. Inspiring doesnt even begin to cover it, as Nishma talked us through her career, the importance of owning our stories and to embrace reinvention (Renaissance or Cowboy Carter anyone?). Oh, and to make sure we’re wearing the sequins when we want to ✨ Huge thanks to Nishma for the talk, our members for coming & to @luckysaintbeer for the fantastic venue in their pub in Marylebone. We’re off to work out what our next album will look like… Photo creds: @zoedimitra @emmajaneelizabeth and Roselyn, one of our members
