2024 will go down as one of the most rewarding and challenging years of my life. Loss, tears, fears, growth, courage, letting go, and so much love. This year taught me to honor boundaries, redefine friendships, and reconnect with the intuition that’s guided me so thoroughly.
✨ Bob ❤️ Abishola: Five groundbreaking years as the first Nigerian to play a Nigerian on U.S. primetime TV. One of the most rewarding experiences of my life, opening doors and opportunities that once felt like distant dreams. A journey filled with literal and figurative deaths, births, and rebirths. Surprising challenges revealed much about human nature but strengthened my resolve and deepened my commitment to my craft. While this chapter has closed, the show lives on in syndication, airing five days a week in the U.S., across global markets, and even on your favorite flights. My love and gratitude to everyone, especially Chuck Lorre—thank you for believing in me. ❤️
✨ Partial relocation and two transformative months in Bali, surrounded by my happy places: animals, nature, warm oceans, and large bodies of water. A time of healing, recharging, and reconnecting with myself.
✨ Other travels enriched my spirit: the Bahamas, Canary Islands, Portugal, New York, Los Angeles, London, and beyond. Every journey a reminder of how much there is to see, learn, and appreciate in this beautiful world.
✨ Mufasa: The Lion King: Playing Amara, a complex villain and sister to the character played by one of my favorite actors, Mads Mikkelsen. Another first as the first Nigerian voice in the franchise, representing my country in this iconic production.
✨ Released new music, “Bobble”, and returned to the stage with my band after years away. 🎶 Realigning with my purpose. 💫
To the old and new friends and partners who showed up in unexpected, beautiful ways—thank you! Your belief in me has exceeded my expectations, and I’m so grateful. To everyone who supported and cheered me on this year, you mean the world to me.
I look forward to sharing my full story with you in 2025. 💫 What a journey. What a story.
Here’s to even bigger dreams and meaningful moments in 2025. Let’s go! 💛🙏🏾
Every single moment of this journey has been pure JOY! “Mufasa: The Lion King”, is more than a dream come true; it’s a blessing I’ll cherish forever. 💫
Also, a historic moment as my character #Amara, the albino lion villain with blue eyes, is the first-ever character in the “Lion King” franchise to speak with a Nigerian accent; a milestone I’m so proud to bring to life. Thank you, Disney, for welcoming me into this incredible family. My heart is full. 🦁💙✨
Still pinching myself; hopping around the world for a movie I love so deeply feels like magic, and being in London, a city that holds so many cherished childhood memories with my family, makes it all the more special. Grateful beyond words. 🙏🏾🦁✨

It's been two years since we said goodbye to our #BobHeartsAbishola family! We want to thank our fantastic cast and crew for the amazing memories over the years. ❤️
Flashback to my first runway… 18 years old;
I didn’t have it all figured out,
Just vision, faith & willingness.
Looking back, I see courage more than anything.
Every “first” matters. Don’t rush past it. 💫
