Good Morning Angels.. What’s Wild Is this is a rarely known fact about the Music City Hiphop Scene.. so back in the 80s, we had a local group called “The Large Brothers” Reo, in the Orange, in this video from Saturday, is Doe Frazier. The Large Brothers were DJ Kutt, Count BassD, Egon & Reo, 3 MCs & a DJ. Well when I was a kid, 4 years old at Knob Hill Villa, I met my first real best friend named Kenyatta & Reo was Kenny’s big brother. I was 4 turning 5 years old, Kenny was a senior when I was a freshman, so he was closer to my age, well Reo was like 15, so a teenager. We was kids, so me & Kenny were inseparable, Reo was older than us & had his own crew. So we were tight, we were cool, but we didn’t kick it.. Instead, he & his friends were in the half office, half closet, weird not big enough to be a bedroom room that many of us had back then 😆😆😆😆, with turntables, crates & mics, gettin tight. While me & Kenny mastered Nintendo & Sega games, Reo & his friends were mixin & rhymin. They formed a group called “THE LARGE BROTHERS” & got hiphop popin in Nashville. So few years in, the Large Bros got a song about Bad Breth poppin 🤔😆🫡 it was tite! Party jam, that’s what they was doin first here in our city, throwing parties & rockin crowds.. So this guy named PuffDaddy started a label called Bad Boy. For the first batch of Artists for Bad Boy, they flew in The Large Brothers, Biggie Smalls, 112 & Faith Evans. Well The Large Brother got up there & ended up getting in a fight in the office & got kicked out, lol. They Flew back to Nashville Count went solo, made a record on his own, Kutt kept DJin & opened a graffiti shop in Hickory Hollow Mall & painted clothes, Egon I didn’t really know & Reo, in the orange, know as Doe Frazier started a carpet cleaning hustle that we all ate off of, I used to love working w him.. One of my first real jobs growin up. Anyway, they used to make me rhyme cause I could. Kenny never rapped, he’s too chill for all that lol, but yeah. So Eddie Clemons, Reo’s Father, was a third father to me. He told every waitress at every Bonanza & Ponderosa in Nashville, that I was his son & it was all good, cause really w Kenny & Reo I was.
