🏝️ “Leave It All Behind (Original Sweet Tea Mix)” - shot and animated in 2004 by @wesedwards & @robert_paynter , resync’ed in 2026 to celebrate the deluxe reissue of Exhibit A.
We were fortunate enough to receive the original 240p source video and did some light upscaling for modern times (no AI).

Out today! Exhibit A (Original Sweet Tea Mix). The Features recorded 17 songs back in 2003 as part of their major label debut. This reissue contains all of those songs preserved with their original mix from Mike McCarthy, as the band envisioned.
There’s a load of demos included here and, for the first time ever, the official version of “God Save Rock n’ Roll.”
THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this release and who has supported The Features over the years. We have more Exhibit A treats on the way, so be sure to stay tuned and join the mailing list at thefeatures.com
Thursday is the only day that I’ve been looking forward to! Because @vinyltapnashville is having a celebration for the new Sweet Tea Mix of Exhibit A! 😉
Thursday, April 9. 5pm - 7pm • Free, all ages, music being spun by @rufus_marlow !
It’s not a show but it’s a good excuse to gather. Your support is much appreciated.
Album is fully available on Bandcamp and Ampwall now. Link in profile.
In 2003, @thefeatures headed down to Sweet Tea studios in Oxford, MS with @antoniocincinnati , @craigkrampf and 17 finely tuned songs ready to record for their major label debut, Exhibit A. They recorded for a month, mixed it all and turned it over to the major label machine.
The album changed and evolved before its release in 2004 but eventually launched the bands career. In celebration of 20+ years of Exhibit A, we are happy to present the Original Sweet Tea Mix.
Sourced from McCarthy’s mix and paired with a bounty of demos from the bands vault with @rapperbc , @craigkrampf , & @mikepoole . @johnbaldwinmastering from @infrasonicsound carefully remastered it all. Loads of photos and ephemera were collected for the art; including collages by @mattandthewattgives on top of the bands own flight cases.
The Features and YK are extremely appreciative of all the support everyone has shown for so long. Please enjoy Exhibit A (Original Sweet Tea Mix).

🤘A fan favorite since at least 2000, “God Save Rock n’ Roll” has never seen an official release. That changes today! As part of the brand new reissue for Exhibit A, “God Save Rock n’ Roll” is now officially available.
Enjoy this video cut from footage at Sweet Tea Studios in Oxford, MS where the band recorded this song and all of Exhibit A. Cameos by @antoniocincinnati , Rory Daigle, @mdmeeks12 , @craigkrampf and - of course - @thefeatures ; @therobemusic , @mattandthewattgives , @rdabbsphotography & Parrish.

I’m excited to finally share & release my AP copies of this poster that commemorates two very special, sold-out nights with @glossary_tn and @thefeatures in Nashville, January 30–31, 2026. Hosted by @goodsignal.online , the shows served as a fundraiser supporting local independent radio stations @wpln@wnxpnashville and @wxnafm This is a 10 color 18 x 24” screen print that features a glow in the dark layer that really pops under a blacklight! A limited run of AP copies are live in the @grandpalace_nashville online store - link in bio.
A little bit about the design - When working on the concept for this poster, I really tried to give a sense of sound as a connective force that turns individuals into community i.e. public radio. The people gathered on the roof are meant to give a sense of celebration while those scaling the towers signify our innate fasciation with the source of sound/music. The glow layer is meant to portray what is always there but never seen, the source of that sound/music being broadcasted afar.
Big shoutout and sincere THANK YOU to @yewknee & @coldlunchcaroline for the opportunity!
❤️ We send out an enormous amount of Thanks to everyone involved in this fundraising effort. You all made a very special thing happen and we’ll be basking in the afterglow for some time.
More later but, for now, THANK YOU.
📋 Here’s the schedule for Friday and Saturday. Your TLDR: arrive at 5 and be delighted all night. Bookmark it! Share it! Remember that music shows can be early or late; these are estimates!
So many people to tag we hit the max! Let the world know! See you all tomorrow!
🎸 @thefeatures take the stage both Jan 30th and 31st. They are a band I’ve been listening to for 30 years, since the earliest days, and they’ve never once gone stale. When Matt Pelham asked about putting together a fundraiser with the band, we accepted the opportunity immediately.
We are over the moon to be raising money for WNXP, WXNA and WPLN with them. Those are some of our favorite stations and The Features are among our favorite bands.
See you this weekend. Let’s Blow It Out!
📰 🚀 Big thanks to @nashvillescene & @s.l.maloney for the coverage about the upcoming shows. We’re excited for everyone to come together for the music and even more to support community & radio.
