i fell in love with tony tony chopper while watching @onepiecenetflix & figured if I couldn’t somehow conjure him up to make him real, then the next best thing to do is cosplay him!
i made this hat mostly using materials I already had laying around. the only new materials purchased was the foam & the fur. i finished the main part of the hat in 1 day, & the antlers, ears, & cuff on another day after everything was dry. I am pretty pleased with how it turned out! the only thing is that I probably would not use hot glue as the top part of the hat did start to tear a bit after being in a humid environment for 8 hours :/
other than that it came out great for pictures & i now have it as a fun prop on my shelf!
this is my first time really making any sort of “how-to” or tutorial, & I unfortunately didn’t take pictures of every single step, but I hope what I have helps inspire you to make one for yourself! ◡̈

this weekend was a lot of firsts for me !! first time attending GSAF, first time being a cosplay guest, first time tabling & first time judging a cosplay contest !!

it was so nice seeing so many familiar faces, meeting some of my mutuals irl, & making so many new friends !!

while @chrispyc2 & @tayizzy_ slayed as hosts 💅🏼 every participant was sooo super talented & all should be SO incredibly proud of their work !!! 🏆
