Before the blue hair, the glitzy outfits and the dance pop, there was a time when I shaved my head and shouted out an anti-war song at the altar of a dark medieval chapel. And I still very much identify with that too.
One winter night in 2013, @words.wes got us access to the 12th century Leper Chapel in Cambridge, UK, and together with @brotherbearltd , we shot a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War”. Thank you again, guys!
I wish this song weren’t so timeless, almost 65 years after its release.
Maybe the performance is oozing a little too much pathos. Or maybe I’m just nervous about sharing something so raw. Either way, I’d like to share it today again.
The new music that I’m currently producing will be darker too. More on that soon.
