After San Francisco followed by a day off exploring Joshua Tree we now have an intimate desert show in Pioneertown California, an interesting movie set town built in the 50s for shooting westerns. It’s a fun little place a few hours drive outside LA and makes a good stop on the way out to the desert.
Hamburg today. I kept seeing this colossal Bunker building from a distance, towering over the St Pauli district of the city, I happened to be passing and it turns out you can walk up to the top. Kind of brutalist 40s cyberpunk, it’s now home to apartments, stores and a venue amongst other things. More info in photos
I had a very nice day yesterday in Utrecht, the venue was a good looking room, and even had a nice mini tour of the impressive cathedral and other architectural and culinary highlights.
If you haven’t been, it’s like a much more chilled Amsterdam, would recommend.
