Meaning it will become abundantly clear where fear based limiting patterns are acting themselves out. And at the same time, support will INCREASE in your life as well; empowering you to EXPAND through the contrast, break free of those limiting patterns, and embody the essence of who you are, full power.
In this profound hall of oracular mirrors, anything in your life that is NOT in resonance with the truth at your core will be required to either evolve with you or change form. The field will help to stabilize you through this rapid growth process. The Core Initiation can be an intense journey, but a most meaningful and deeply supported one.
You will be stood for through the changes as your awareness and confidence expands. You will be met with unwavering love - especially in the places you most doubt that love is deserved. You will be received. You will be stretched. You will be uplifted as you embody your genius.

Inside The Dojo spaces we can’t guarantee the experience of belonging, but we can guarantee that here we are willing to confront the parts of ourselves that might obstruct it.
This weekend inside our Core Initiation Retreat we witnessed real-time breakthrough transformation with the relational field as a mirror catalyzing greater self mastery and personal empowerment across the board. The side effect of this? Real intimacy built upon a foundation of sometimes hard-to-hear truth with a receptive place to land.
I am inspired by the incredible courage and willingness the women of @thedojoinitiation demonstrate. Not only the willingness to be real AF but also to be stands for each other in some of the most challenging and scary parts of the process.
I witnessed us embodying our highest selves as we expressed vulnerably, anchored discernment + self respect and deeply practiced and integrated the ability to hold, enforce and respect boundaries.
I witnessed us choosing to stay. I witnessed us holding each other as able and inquiring deeply into self and other. I witnessed the power of the mirror and of this emergent relational work as catalyst for personal empowerment.
I witnessed the power of song, prayer and love in its most fierce and most gentle expressions. I witnessed humility and power. And I witnessed us holding it all, together. With Accountability. Connection. Devotion.
What I sit with today is this:
The practice of including & trusting all parts of - self with self - is the road to mastery.
The practice of including & trusting all parts of - self with other - is the road to belonging & connection.
And The ability to include & find trust in - all parts of self AND all parts of another - all at once, is the road to what I would call, Relational Mastery.
And it is just that - relational mastery, that I believe is needed on a collective level for global healing.
I’m left feeling honored to do this work, with these women of the dojo ilk, and I’m standing in an ever greater level of commitment and reverence to the meaningfulness of it all.

8 years ago, something moved through me and @thedojoinitiation was born.
Not from a curriculum. Not from a lineage. From a direct line.
In the early years, I served straight from that source. No filters. No framework. Just my heart and that frequency — raw, unmediated. pure.
Then the inputs started coming in.
Teachers. Trainings. Lineages. Inspiring Peers. I learned multiple instruments, studied trauma, completed plant diets, pilgrimages, embodiment & polarity programs — years of becoming “more equipped.”
And so much of it mattered. Deeply.
But somewhere in all that becoming...my facilitation got watered down. Less like me, more like this or that.
A sister who’s come to Liberation Dojos from the very beginning — reflected something to me after a more recent Dojo that cracked me open:
“That was great. But anyone could have facilitated that. I want the OG Zahara frequency. That direct line DOJO space. Where’d that edge go?”
This cracked open important awarenesses that have been ripening for a time….
I don’t need to be more informed. I am informed.
I don’t need to hold ceremony the right way - There isn’t one - I need to hold it my way.
I don’t need to protect everyone from themselves by being careful. We are built to expand. To align with truth. To handle what is real. DOJO is inherently a supportive field to do just that. It just requires trust.
And that return HOME to trust in the line of energy it all stems from is what came back online at the most recent Liberation Dojo last week 🔥
We met exactly what the moment needed in real time. The videos here feature the Liberation that lives on the other side of the depths we traversed.
We will hold the most sensitive content sacred, but these clips provide a taste of what’s possible on the other side of meeting and being met in the Dojo.

I realized recently that I’ve overly tempered myself to ensure @thedojoinitiation offers “trauma safe” spaces, and in doing so an essential - more wild and authentic - origin point got watered down.
My commitment now is to prioritize trust in myself, and in all who enter the dojo spaces, to navigate sensitive territory well.
🔥When we are held as able to embody our best selves - we’re more likely to embody our best selves.
Simple as that.
I believe in the power of circle.
Coming together with the intention of seeing ourselves more clearly through the mirror.
With shared intention to embody freedom, truth, love.
However it looks.
Whatever it takes.
It looks different every time.
And that’s the magic.
This Liberation Dojo feels like it just gunna hit different.

There is a moment…
When truth rises in your body.
You feel what you really want to say, and your expression is right there, on the tip of your tongue….and then…something happens.
You freeze. Or soften. Or filter…You hold your truth back. Because somewhere along the way, you learned: If I am FULLY expressed…I might not belong.
And so the body adapts. The nervous system protects. And the voice begins to apologize.
Yesterday during our Expression Session inside The Dojo Woman Collective, we sat inside that moment together. The moment where the truth wants to come through…and the fear of not being accepted shuts it down.
What I witnessed over and over again was this:
When a woman is met in love…
when she is reflected to without projection…
when she is held instead of judged…
Her voice comes back online. Unapologetically. This time, MORE TRUE.
But here’s the deeper layer we touched:
Truth alone is not enough.
Truth without attunement to TONE and to TIMING can be dangerous.
It can land as attack.
It can miss the heart.
It can close the very connection we long to deepen.
So this work is not just about speaking your truth.
It’s about learning how to FEEL your truth.
How to attune to both your truth and to the recipients of it…and…how to deliver that truth in a way that can actually be received.
This is the work we practice inside
The Dojo Woman Collective and inside The Liberation Dojo.
Where your nervous system learns:
It is safe to be seen.
It is safe to be heard.
It is safe to be all of you.
And where your voice learns how to land, with grace.

I’ve spent a lot of time watering down my truth to avoid hurting people.
I find myself asking the question — does it hurt more to speak my truth and potentially be misinterpreted, or to abandon myself?
Both hurt, if I’m being honest.
But abandoning myself hurts more in the long run.
And it drains power.
I’ve realized that personal power is defined by the degree to which we do not run away from ourselves.
Abandoning self to appease (also called people pleasing) is an example of “running away” from the self. All forms of self abandonment act as protection from risking the potential of feeling the feeling of losing love - of being mis-perceived, of hurting or letting someone down or your truth being rejected.
While I’m focused here on self abandonment patterns, running away from the self occurs in ANY action of attempting to protect ourselves from feeling any feeling we don’t want to feel.
Simple as that.
Pick your flavor. And you’ll find where your power is draining.
For me it often looks like over explaining myself, over extending, being indirect / watering down my truth, or changing my shape to adapt to another’s needs.
The quick route out? Expand capacity to be with the discomfort that comes with being out of control.
The more we expand our capacity to be with the feelings we most fear, the more connected to our truth — and our power to express that truth — we will become.
This is the work we focus on inside The Liberation Dojo. What are you afraid to feel? Where are you even subtly running away from you and draining your power in the process?

When life brings unexpected twists and turns,
When grief touches the deepest places,
And fear screams through the soul cascading doubt
as to whether
the intensity of our feelings,
might actually be
Too much....
Its in those moments,
When it feels too much to hold alone,
That we most need connection -
Connection to those we trust,
And connection to the natural world.
These areas of connection were focal points during our most recent @thedojoinitiation Council retreat.
In navigating so much range together, we return to that which is simple again and again…
A turn to nature that grounds.
A hand held by a sister who sees you clearly.
A deep breath under a grandmother tree
And recently,
We went heartbeat to heartbeat with majestic four legged horses during our Dojo Council retreat.
The horses helped to bring coherence,
helped to remind the body
the nervous system
the soul
that
it is safe to feel this much.
We spent time with the @equineleadershipprogram and remembered the simple pathway home that the animal kingdom, and our natural world, is always providing.
We learned that the horses can smell emotion and just by synching breath with them, we can quickly co-regulate and receive their support in holding whatever might seem to be “too much” right along with us. Literally sharing the load and helping to process excess on the exhale.
That is the gift of choosing this path...
while we must individually navigate our unique soul curriculum, we don’t have to do it alone. Thank you to these beautiful horses for supporting us in that rememberance.
There is a major leap we’ve recently taken.
We have invested in a very special piece of land in the heart of the mountains of Topanga — a place we lovingly call Makom Harim, which means “The Place of the Mountains.”
The mountains that hold. The mountains that have seen worlds appear, collapse and rebuild. The mountains that now hold our @thedojoinitiation home.
Our first major offering in this ecological miracle is the Dojo Ritual Concert on January 27th at sunset.

The way being in a community to hold you to your actual highest capacity in a rite of passage process can change your life.
I’ve been a part of a lot of group “containers” and had an itch to find something that felt real, rooted in the ways and wisdom of the earth, something that pushed up against the new age transactional cult like spaces we often find these days.
I found it in the @thedojoinitiation — it changed everything about my entire life.
While I have an amazing network and community, it provided me another — one that was centered specifically around showing up in the hardest moments of our lives, where we lean in to what is REALLY GOING ON, get witnessed in it and have resources from every angle.
I don’t have words for the magnitude of this space. It’s such an honor to be part of its council.
I didn’t know walking in to it that anything that didn’t resonate or align with living life in the most honest and aligned way would have to burn, but also that in that process i’d be held in my fullness with deep humility.
It’s like every single being in this space represents a different and necessary flavor of connection that made me feel held from every direction — words fall short of the level of attunement; the wisdom; the hilarity, the depth, the presence.
There’s so much I want to say but for now I’ll leave it here and just say that the Dojo has changed my life. From a Chinese Astrological perspective we’re moving from the year of the snake, number 9 (endings completions and shedding) into the year of the fire horse, number 1 (the beginning of a new cycle, courage to initiate, charisma & leadership)
This fire horse energy occurs once every 60 years, the last being 1966.
This energy invites ferocity of spirit, rebellion against restraint, and “can’t be contained” go for it energy.
It syncs nicely with the major outer planets Saturn and Neptune making their final shift from Pisces to Aries as well.
2025 created opportunity to clear the path. Bushwhack what needs to be released to pave the way for the big strides that that 2026 invites.
And what better to drive those strides then the energy of a stallion on fire with passion, well earned freedom from limiting stories, courage and magnetism.
It is time to engage the energy of the fool operating on a high rung of the spiral 🌀 is it risk or is it intelligent calculated surrender into a collaborative relationship with life itself?
