Out of all the things I've said on a mic, no matter how complicated or complex. No matter how convoluted or intricate. No matter how dope or not dope...at the end of it all, no song I've ever been a part of making got to the point and told how I felt more than this one. SIMPLE AND PURE. I found a way to attack a song with simplicity but in no way have I felt like I sacrificed poignance or artistic integrity...it's just sometimes the truth of the matter takes few words. I apologize for not hopping on socials and explaining myself more. Sometimes I wonder if my folks pick up on my passion
...cause it F**kin burns white hot. I CARE DEEPLY so you dont have to. The line will get towed either way.
This album was a treatise about my life from about 11-24 years old. That span still being ,imo, adolescence. I dont think I could call myself a man for real until about 37 years old. So yea, there's angst in it, there's hurt in it, it lacks peace, but it's me and by extension it's us. I can't and wont speak for my band mates but I just hope to satisfy and parallel things they may have felt. With that said HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY!!
