One of my favorite challenges from last year because I promised Bimma I could Ai + VFX an infinite purple stage with fake grass. Between masking Bimma out and matching the velocity of the football felt like it took a decade of problem solving because I also had to add back his shadows over the grass. Not sure if we all believed it was possible in the moment but we trusted in each others roles and we got all the components correct to make it work. I remember opening up the RAW footage before I started editing and said to myself “shit.” Because the image was so far away from where it needed to be but here we are, so thankful for this crew. They really know how to make me look good.

Music is where it all started. I can’t forget that. I remember Heff was the first person to ever pay me for a music video. $75 to shoot a video at D-Block skatepark and I was in the middle of transitioning out of college to pursue freelance video. That $75 changed my whole perspective. It’s been the continued support from others and the willingness to believe in a vision (with nearly no budget sometimes or none at all) that has gotten me the rest of the way. Thank you to my friends and all the creatives in the city for sharing your time with me even if it’s for a few frames. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew like this one here. Who would any of us be if we didn’t love what we do.
