Friendships were deepened, new ones created, sweets were enjoyed, the ton was scandalized, and the tea was spilled at @lunarquillrevelries Tea In The Ton. I had sooo much fun attending this with my sisters (and spending two days beforehand feverishly sewing with Jess to get her corset made and my dress finished).
And I got to meet the queen 😱

Thrift flip to high tea with the Queen.
I made this dress for @lunarquillrevelries Tea In The Ton. It was honestly such a fun event, I attended with my sisters and met some amazing new friends as well as reunited with old ones. The styling was gorgeous, the food and drinks were delicious and the queen was just the right mix of fun and intimidating. I don't love regency silhouettes so instead I took inspiration from the textures and colors of regency but kept it as a more princess inspired silhouette that I love. Then I used a piece of thrifted old upholstery fabric that I'm fairly certain was ripped off of a couch (I had to cut around the stains 🫣) for the corset, and a thrifted duvet cover for the skirt. It turned out so good!

But for real I absolutely love to make custom items and cool props for my games. Last session my players got mail so of course I had to actually write the letters for them and add some wax seals.
This was a fun side quest!
Braiding trinkets or beads into your hair was one of my April side quests, and I loved doing this a few weeks ago. Definitely a great way to add some interest into my hair. Would you try this?

Indie Bookstore Day 2026 in the books!
We made a fun date day of it hopping from bookstore to bookstore and grabbing lunch at @hagemeisterparkgb . Of course I had to wear a fun fantasy inspired outfit complete with my @wellreadco book bag!
We had a brief interlude to watch Tae Kwon Do testing, and ran a D&D game in the evening so we unfortunately did not have time to go to @theflorashelves or @loomandlorebookmobile which was truly a tragedy, but we did make it to @lions_mouth_bookstore@bookstopgb and @pages_and_pours_depere , which were all wonderful.
Can't wait until Indie Bookstore Day Next year, and you better bet we'll be hitting as many stops on the roadmap throughout the year as we can :)

Indie bookstore day is this Saturday and I'm so excited to shop at our local bookstores. What better date with your love or girls day out than some coffee, bookstores, and lunch?

If you're in the Green Bay area I've compiled a list of the indie bookstores in the area to make hitting them all up this Saturday nice and easy!
✨ Lion’s Mouth Bookstore - featuring new and used books along with a selection of gifts and stationery and a little built in cafe. They'll have the new Indie Bookstore Roadmaps, a golden audio book ticket hidden, special merch, and a free ARC + drink if you spend $50 or more.

✨ Pages and Pours - Green Bay's wine bar and Bookstop. Beautiful aesthetics and a collection of both new and used books, including gorgeous vintage editions of classics. They'll have book discounts and drinks all day.
✨The Flora Shelves - Appleton’s fantasy only(ish) bookstore in an absolutely gorgeous space! They'll have beautiful floral arrangements, a golden audiobook ticket, special merch, author signings, and special discounts. Definitely a must see!
✨The Tardigrades Bookshelf - A Bookbar featuring a low alcohol and mocktail menu, cozy vibes, and a selection of books including local authors.
