It was a night of celebration (22 January 2026) anchored in intention — a birthday, a debut EP, & the official launch of a record label, all under one defining name: AVANA. @thuliphongolo , now fully stepping into her music identity as Thuli P marked her birthday by unveiling a six-track EP, announcing her recording label, & boldly entering her producer era — elegant, intentional, & undeniable. @celavi_sandton was packed with industry heavyweights who came out to usher in this new chapter. Spotted on the night were Gigi Lamayne, Reason, Thatohatsi, Nia Pearl (featured twice on the EP), & DJ Maphorisa, all bearing witness to the moment. The EP which is Amapiano delivered — smooth, refined, & confident. Our personal favourite, “Hai Suka,” stood out effortlessly. Rating? A solid 10/10.
