Thank you @avedaireland@national_b for having us over last week to showcase all things Aveda at your amazing @nblive.ie event.
When creating this look I was inspired by the pink lakes of Australia. Google it… it’s simply stunning. I wanted to encapsulate the contrast between the cool beige toned beaches against the pinky water. I hope you like my interpretation.
For the global cool pink beige tone I used 40g VR/Y + 8g Pastel V and a dot of Pink Pure Pigment
For the lilac/pink I used a watercolour technique dipping the hair in a mixture of iris-azalea.

Big hair has always been my bag- the first salon I ever worked in called Andrew Collinge back in the early 2000s they used to do massive blow drys with what felt like a million brushes in the hair- I still remember being scared for my life taking the brushes out and getting them stuck! Taught be a lot- there’s nothing like a bouncy blow! So glad we are moving back towards expensive looking locks once more!
Must be the Scouser in me — born and bred (for my American friends a scouser is from Liverpool😉)
