Had the pleasure to meet Malu on a beautiful secluded beach in the Algarve, and we spontaneously ended up in a photoshooting flow, using up the whole serene scenery as our playground.
Needless to say, i do believe the photos truly captured the vibe and aesthetics of the whole set and setting, and 35mm film did play a big role in that 🧡

My first time using Fuji 64d 🎞️ and I kinda love it! I was going to try my hand at ECN-2 development at home for this one, but for some reason couldn’t get the film to feed into my daylight tank, and I ended up shredding half of the roll. 🥲 Luckily I learned from the mistake and sent my other roll to @boutiquefilmlab for dev and scan after 🫂

I found this lone Soviet-era car that we call “nol-altı” meaning “06” (derived from its actual model name VAZ-2106), parked on the shore of the Caspian Sea in Sumgayit, my hometown in Azerbaijan, as the sun was setting during my favourite walk by the sea.
I was so happy to come across this scene because it perfectly captures the vibe of the city: a former Soviet city by the sea.

The Atlantic doesn’t ask for permission… it just carves. Standing on these limestone edges, you can practically hear the centuries of tides hitting the stone. Every arch and hidden cave feels like a secret the ocean finally decided to share. I came here for the view, but I’m staying for the way the salt air makes everything else feel a little less heavy. It turns out, a million years of erosion makes for a pretty great perspective.
