This seems crazy to say but I’m now a business business owner! I had song plans and other stuff that I pushed to the side to dive in and create a whole studio not just for me but this ever growing group of creators I’ve met around the world. This Saturday me, @alecjrobinette , and Spencer Aubrey will be launching @thecmpndnc an all in one creative studio for those looking to turn their passion into a career. #winstonsalem has so many amazing creative people but nothing pulling everyone together. Artistic Elements is proud to announce the launch of Cohort 3. Designed to elevate emerging artists by bridging the gap between creativity and entrepreneurship. This four-month residency program provides participants with professional studio spaces, hands-on workshops, and individualized support in business strategy, branding, and financial planning from HUSTLE Winston-Salem @hustle_ws and The CMPND with financial support from Greater Winston-Salem Inc Entrepreneurial Catalyst Grant This round welcomes nine creatives from across the Triad area Kiiba @kiiba__ A performing artist that merges dense lyricism and unflinching storytelling Skylan (313 Media) @thatnerd313 A multidisciplinary creative and emerging artist blending visual storytelling with music. KamDoja @kamdoja_art A recording and performing artist that merges Hip Hop & Neo Soul Billy Pe$o @the_rockstarplayboy A recording artist, model, clothing designer and just all around creative. Que Byrd @whatsyourquezt The founder of Quezt, a lifestyle brand rooted in art, fashion, and self-discovery. Detro Ali @detroalimusic A dynamic singer versed in classical, rnb, neo soul, musical theater, gospel, pop, indie rock, Denzel Fleming @nonotwashington A spoken word artist, photographer, marketing expert and community leader. Zack Hutchinson @zack_hutchinson A multi instrumentalist who focuses on guitar, ranging from studio recordings to live performances.
