One good strategy conversation and suddenly it’s 2AM, your headline is on its fifth draft, and you’ve got 12 tabs open about personal branding, SEO, and whether your niche is specific enough.
We’ve all been there. The profile that comes out the other side is always worth it though.

LinkedIn feels like a flop to you because you gave up too early.
This is something that may be hard to admit, but how many times did you post strategically before you got discouraged and stopped showing up?
If it is 7 months or less, you need to try again.
Authority gets built through the act of showing up consistently, sharing your perspective, and being willing to have a point of view even when each post doesn’t go viral.
👉🏽 Send this to a founder who needs to start posting again.
Referrals are great until someone stops referring you, gets busy, or moves on, and suddenly your pipeline has nothing behind it.
A network gets you in the room.
A brand makes people seek you out before they even know anyone who knows you.
Those are two very different growth strategies, and only one of them compounds over time.
If you can’t generate leads without someone else vouching for you, that’s more of a dependency than a business development strategy.
The goal is to build something strong enough that people find you, trust you, and reach out without needing an introduction first.
Referrals should be a bonus on top of a system that’s already working.
