Quite Literally Jumping into 31 Today. Happy Birthday to Me! 🥳🎊 This year I decided to take it one step further on my special day!! Not only am I doing this whole adventure by myself, I am learning so much more about what makes me, me. These last few months have been taxing on everyone, and the way this world is set up - everyone needs a BREAK. Today I took flight, I take @danny_basquiat to every new country that I see, because he’s still my favorite travel buddy. In the last few seconds you can see me sending his ashes over the mountainside giving him a permanent home in Colombia.
🤧🥹Nephew Turns 15 !!!
It’s the first time in about 6 years that nephew isn’t starting school on his actual birthday. I got myself a plane ticket Tuesday just to surprise him by flying in this morning. It’s so surreal to see this boy growing into the person that he is becoming, I see so much of me at that age it’s crazy. I hope that as time comes, our bond can continue to grow and I can watch him be as great as he wants to be. I’m so happy to be your uncle and to see you flourish into a great young man. We got a few more hours to be great, so let’s make that happen.

From arriving at the airport, to climbing 🧗♂️ 177 actual steps up a mountain side to get to the AIRBNB and trekking 177 steps down to get to the car, to experiencing nature in its most raw form - we did it!

Brother! I did it! I went to Jamaica and I experienced Nanny Falls. I felt the warm embrace of life as I waded through those waters, it was magical. I felt your presence in the warmth of the sunlight that touched my back; with every step leading up to the moment I was able to cry, scream, laugh, and experience a plethora of emotions I haven’t felt in almost a year.
This trip was supposed to be for your birthday, but it’s a present that came just a little late. I miss you everyday and I’m happy I was able to take a little of you with me, I put you in a beautiful small pool at the falls, somewhere where you can stay a while.
Thank you for giving me that peace, thank you for those little signs, and thank you for being my brother.
