We honestly thought Carvoeiro would be “just another beach town” … but we were very wrong.😳🌊

Let’s just say… the “stick fish curse” needed a rematch 😅🎣
A few months ago, we went on a tiger-fishing adventure on Jozini Dam, where I (Leanne) somehow became a pro overnight… and Danny? Well, let’s just say he bonded deeply with a stick 🤣 (see slide 3)
So we decided it was time to break the curse and try again, but this time by going deep-sea fishing.
We had never been deep-sea fishing before, so naturally Danny was convinced this was going to be his redemption moment. New waters, new fish, new him… right?
Well… within minutes I caught a fish. Then someone else did. Then everyone did. An hour later there were multiple fish onboard… but zero from Danny🙈You could literally see the “stick fish” trauma setting in 😂
But then… it happened.🙏
That sudden pull. That panic. That “WAIT THIS IS AN ACTUAL FISH?!” moment 😳🐠
And just like that… Danny FINALLY caught his first fish 🥹🎉
I think it’s safe to say the “stick fish” curse has officially been broken 😁🍻
