Last week my papermaking class with 5th grade used the papers we made from recycled materials and the mats from the frames we used to make moulds/deckles to make our own art pieces. We decided between making a sunset or sunrise (unanimously sunset 😂) and then went step by step with materials. I love how the pink recycled paper peeks through and adds texture. After layers, we learned to mat our pieces and decorated with some naturally dyed fabric!
