Later, we moved to the floor — just her, a simple comforter, delicate baby’s breath, and the precious ultrasound photo resting nearby. Every frame felt like a love letter to this sacred in-between season. The gentle curve of her belly, the soft glow on her skin, the way her hands instinctively cradled what’s to come — it all whispered the same truth: motherhood is one of the most beautiful journeys we’re ever invited to walk. From the very first ‘yes’ to forever, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside Marissa and Ross through some of life’s most beautiful chapters. It started with their engagement session—those golden-hour laughs and stolen glances that captured the spark of what was coming. Then their wedding day: the tears, the vows, the way they couldn’t stop looking at each other like the rest of the world had faded away. And now their maternity session at the gorgeous @theamesstudio ..We kept things relaxed and intimate in the bright, open white space—perfect for letting them just be. No rush, no pressure. We flowed through gentle posing together, focusing on connection: Ross’s hand resting protectively on Marissa’s bump, their foreheads touching, quiet smiles as they talked about what parenthood might look like—the late nights, the tiny clothes, the overwhelming love that’s already here. These sessions aren’t just about photos; they’re about freezing the anticipation, the tenderness, the way two people become three in the softest, most hopeful way. Watching Marissa and Ross lean into this new season together reminded me why I love documenting love in all its evolving forms. I love new places, new people, and learning wherever I go. All of this has fueled me to become both an entrepreneur and a storyteller. We have the power to choose our own direction—and it’s the message I preach to my kids every day.

If you’re looking for a studio that’s actually easy to work in… ours has been a lifesaver for so many people.
First off, it’s on the first floor with wide double doors, so bringing in gear doesn’t turn into a workout. In the back, we’ve got a huge prop closet — chairs, mugs, backdrop papers, random finds — the kind of stuff that always comes in handy when you didn’t realize you needed it.
And if something comes up? Rescheduling is super simple. No stress, no hassle.
Just a space that makes creating feel a little easier.
