Crochet Fashion Editorial with
@knotokayclub
✨🧶Some people are making something of nothing, while the fiber artists of Knot Okay Club are making something out of everything. With no machinery involved, and little to no sweat, crocheters produce intricate garments that remain one-of-a-kind.
Knot Okay Club was birthed out of creative expression as one Black Woman navigated her way through grief by crocheting, and then invited other Black Women and non-binary people who needed the space too; inadvertently creating a community for fiber artists.
With a set and wardrobe made almost exclusively of fiber art and recycled textiles, this editorial project in collaboration with
@knotokayclub highlights four NYC designers and fiber artists, and celebrates crochet fashion at large.
