We’ve been asked to shoot maybe one ceremony after last light in all the years we’ve been in the wedding game. Then Elsa + Mateo slid into the DMs: golden hour pics first, ceremony at night. We said yeah, figuring it’d be… fine. Turns out the low light looked really cool and we’d now like everyone to have ceremonies at night.
P.S. After all that, there’s only one ceremony slide in the carousel because we took way too many golden hour shots and refused to part with more. Blame the couple for looking that good 🥲

Oh boy, we don’t even know where to begin with LittleDove + Kaiyang! To sum it up, they’re a ridiculously good-looking duo who brought depth, culture, and serious freaking style to their wedding (hiya, models!). Their day included a few quiet nods to LittleDove’s Maidu, Miwok, and Nisenan roots alongside Kaiyang’s Chinese heritage - subtle but meaningful. It was a reminder of why it matters to show up thoughtfully. We acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional lands of many Indigenous peoples across California, including Tongva territory here in Pasadena, and that acknowledgment is something we should always keep front and center.
