Come meet @murryklumps and @codytriplett at their vendor table next Saturday March 21st 11am - 6pm at 1106 Santa Fe st KCMO Based in Saint Paul, MN, THE END Press is a micropress operated by Mary Climes and Cody Triplett. THE END combines words and images to make humorous, deep works that explore our big, beautiful world as it circles the drain. THE END Press focuses on publishing physical releases in the form of handmade comics, chapbooks, art books, and prints.

🍌🌊🐢 THE END Times Issue 2: “It’s hotter than hell.” The Ecology Issue 🐢🌊🍌 Featuring: An Interview with @maggieumber about creativity, nature, Shelly Jackson, and one of her latest releases, Chrysanthemum Under the Waves. @eddyleonelaldana of @otravezpress shares images and writing about his newest banana leaf print work and its implications for his personal family history as well as the imperial history of the banana in Guatemala. @museum_of_infinite_outcomes gives us a short comic which asks us to pause and contemplate the ultimate source of life: water. Debuted originally at @chicagozinefest in summer 2025.

two things we wanna say with this post: (1) Many thank yous to the organizers, volunteers, and other exhibitors who made @chicagozinefest not only possible, but one of the most welcoming, busy, and accessible zine fests we have ever been to!!! We had such a blast selling and trading our works, and getting to meet all of the other artists and attendees was a true true pleasure. (2) To that end, we wanted to thank everyone for buying up ALL of our poem posters to support families in Palestine. We may not have mentioned this to everyone, but we decided to match the money we made on the posters, so your money went even further! Specifically, as can see on the later slides on this post, we sent all the money to The Sameer Project, and split the money between north and central Gaza distribution of food, water, milk, diapers, and medical supplies, and the other half went to the Rafaat Al Areer Camp, which supports some of the more vulnerable ppl with war injuries or chronic diseases, adults with special needs and mobility issues, children with physical or mental disabilities, high risk perinatal and neonatal females, or families with extreme trauma or are in phychological distress. Thanks again to all our new friends we met!!! You have made a huge impact on our lives and an even bigger one to our brothers and sisters across the world 💗

“Every Word” Poem Poster Originally made for Autoptic 2024. All proceeds from sales of the poster go to support a family trying to escape unimaginable tragedy in Gaza who have been on the run for months. THE END Presents: SPOILED vol. 6: (In which we rename the segment from THE END’S Favorite Ends) Monica by Daniel Clowes Clowes here, after what feels like a quadruple feature, film-soaked-day-with-the-blinds-drawn, ends in a fashion that is hard for us here at THE END Press not to love. Literally depicting the end of the world, Clowes puts you right in the front row of a transmission, not from a distant apocalypse in the future, but of our hellish present moment. Every minute of love and fear in the preceding pages are shockingly nullified, but are realized, electric, with the characters lives, prophecies, the abandoned corners of their inner spirits are “made flesh” in this explosive finale. The radio, once Monica’s peace-object, is now corrupted by the “cacophany” and it is too late. Did the world end somewhere back there? Is this a big bang in reverse?

THE END’s favorite ENDS pt5: Scab County by Carlos Gonzalez Gonzalez brings you one of the great dark comedic endings of all time here. Many artists attempt to illustrate dream-reality blurring, but few can do so like Gonzalez, who tends to make you laugh in the same instant. This father son drug dream western concludes with a vision and a joke that will send you back to the beginning many times. Read this comic! Also big fan of Test Tube and Gates of Plasma if you are looking for funny, twisted reads…. Let your drifter mind take a haunted trip to Scab County…..jus make sure you know yer way back….
