this past week i graduated from my dream school
@berkleecollege !! i am beyond grateful. it’s been a long time coming, and by the grace of God, i made it!

i would like to thank my family + friends, loved ones, as well as every professor, mentor, mentee, classmate, dean, and faculty member. from the security guards to the president, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. i would not have been able to do this without your guidance, love, kindness, and support.

getting to this point was not easy. there were many points throughout my college career where i wanted to give up, due to personal, professional, and even institutional shortcomings. some of these were due to circumstances outside of my control, while others came from my own errors. i am so grateful that i serve a God that is not only able to deliver me from these situations, but also to make them work for my own good (and DID!)

to my fellow graduates, class of ‘25 AND ‘26! i love yall! we did that! i’m excited to see all the things God has in store for us. i know we are going to take over this industry, but more importantly, we are going to live rich & full lives. as long as we continue to be a blessing unto others as God has been unto us, we shall reap the benefits!

to my folks who are still in school, especially my little siblings (yall know who yall are) KEEP GOING! continue making music, continue making friends! grow in your craft but also in your personhood. i pray that we were able to lead by example and establish a community that involves mutual accountability, transparency, growth, grace, and above all, love. if we could’ve done better, then do it better! i believe in you! you’re almost there and we will see yall soon!
