🎨 I've been asked why I don't just paint digitally if the end result is digital. Surely it's a much faster and easier process?
Here's why:
It's simply because I enjoy the slow, imperfect nature of hand painting. Don't get me wrong, digital tools play a huge part in my process. But choosing to hand paint the raw designs is a way of finding a balance. I strangely feel more in control and it feels more meditative. I also think there’s a unique beauty in embracing the imperfections of human errors such as uneven lines, texture and a slightly asymmetrical composition, that digital software often troubleshoots automatically.
So why choose to design your wedding stationery with me? Having hand painted designs means that yours will always be one-of-a-kind! I will work closely with you throughout the process to design a truly bespoke set that shares your story with your guests in a way that is unique to you!

Thank you so much @shaw.22 for letting me be a part of this amazing weekend! It was honestly one of the most organised, creative and community-focused events I've ever been to and I'm so excited to see how @playing_outside_ grows!

💗Just me constantly reliving the best 18 months of my life 😁
In all honesty, those 18 months truly changed the trajectory of my career and life! In this last week of 2025, my feed has been filled with reviews of the year, vision boards for 2026 and reflections on growth but every time I sat down to reflect on the year, I ended up thinking back to New Zealand, which was now 6 years ago! How time flies! (And the reason why the video quality isn't the best 😅)
Living halfway across the world in my early 20s made me realise that a traditional job in commercial architecture was not for me, that I'm a nature girly at heart, that painting is a powerful way to connect when I feel physically distanced from the outdoors, and most importantly, that I have a voice and a responsibility to protect nature, whether through my job or otherwise.
So my yearly reflections always end up back there - not because I'm living in the past but because it's a grounding reminder of how far I've come and what my values are 🌿
I wouldn't be who I am today without Aotearoa 💕🌺
