I really appreciate my Senator recognizing the work weâre doing and for her support in animal rights and advocacy! Knowing we have our legislators behind us to protect animals is so important! đâ¤ď¸

It was great catching up with @thatvegantiffany one of my constituents and a co-founder of @revolution_philadelphia
Tiffany is a passionate advocate for animals and helped lead the effort to pass a landmark ordinance in West Chester Borough prohibiting the retail sale of dogs, cats, and rabbits in pet stores.
In the state legislature, Iâm a strong supporter of Victoriaâs Law (introduced by @senjamesmalone ) to extend that ban statewide.
I made this video because sometimes you want to help, but donât know how! đŚ
The wildlife are up against so much. Loss of habitat, loss of biodiversityâŚhighways and condos now cover the places they once called home. Wildlife may be resourceful, but they are losing their resources.
I donât condone regularly interacting with or feeding wildlife for many reasons, but they need us to intervene sometimes. In this case, this young fox that lives in my neighborhood is suffering with mange and needs help.
In a world with so much negativity happening, feeling powerless can be a symptom of it. Helping animals, helping people, and helping the Earth are ways that you can truly make a difference, so please do it! â¤ď¸
Also, yes it was weird buying and boiling eggs, but for a variety of reasons, I knew using eggs would be most successful in this case.

I donât like my birthday. I donât like aging. I donât like knowing the end (?) is one day closer than it was before. But I always try to use today as an opportunity to say something meaningful. Simple, but meaningful.
Times are BAD for people and animals and the planet. Itâs not opinion, itâs in the fkn stars. Everything happening to everyone isnât by accident. What can we do?
Leave your ego at the door -and let it die forever. Then help someone. Anyone. Just do something because it matters. â¤ď¸

3/5/26 A March 3, 2026 opinion article by Forest Romm argues that nurses and other helping professions have been influenced by psychologist Derald Wing Sueâs ideas about structural racism.
The article frames discussions of racism in healthcare as ideological activism rather than evidence-based public health concerns.
However, decades of peer-reviewed research have documented measurable disparities in diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes affecting racial and ethnic minorities in the United States.
Recognizing these disparities is not political ideology.
It is part of ethical and evidence-based clinical practice.

Our latest substack by our co-founder, @mansi.bhagwate , not only honors who weâve lost, but talks about how we can care for one another.
We have a huge group of passionate activists that also work in the therapy space and weâll be creating something really powerful soon. This will be a resource for all activists and rescuers and anyone impacted by the grief of doing what we do.
In the meantime, we are here. Our DMs are always open. đŤ
