Smeding Performance is looking for a Dyno Technician to join our team! We build custom crate engines for classic muscle cars and hot rods.
What You’ll Do:
• Load engines onto the dyno
• Test, tune, and perform break-ins
• Monitor engine performance
What We’re Looking For:
• Basic wrenching experience (preferred)
• Strong work ethic & willingness to learn
• Training provided

@mister_zachary 's refreshed 572ci big block is fresh off the dyno (861hp, 745lb/ft tq) and is ready to party in his Squarebody K5. They orginal build by @smedingperformance and @thatengineguy was so solid, all it took was a fresh round of skirt coating on our original pistons to be ready to get sent again by Zac and his extremely heavy right foot.

After 5 years of flogging, my @smedingperformance 572ci big block was somehow still perfect on the inside. But since we were in there, we decided to give it a host of upgraded go-fast parts to make this thing even wilder than it already was. With the New Smeding 385cc heads, custom cam, valvetrain, rods, and bearings, this thing is making 130 more HP than it did in its previous form.
572 cubic inches of red-blooded, bald eagle–screaming, raw American horsepower is back and ready for more with @mister_zachary . Thanks to top-notch work from @thatengineguy , the JE Pistons inside this beast have already taken a beating and kept going strong. Now it's time to turn it up with bigger heads, a stronger valvetrain, and an even bigger cam. Let’s see what Zac can do to our pistons this time around 💪
