Smeding Performance is looking for a Dyno Technician to join our team! We build custom crate engines for classic muscle cars and hot rods.

• Load engines onto the dyno
• Test, tune, and perform break-ins
• Monitor engine performance

• Basic wrenching experience (preferred)
• Strong work ethic & willingness to learn

March 2026 TX Mile is officially wrapped! My DIY C6.R did fantastic. I have a couple tweaks to make before the next event, but the car finished strong and had zero malfunctions. This was a great testament to why building things the right way the first time can save you tremendous headaches! Attention to detail always pays dividends.
The fastest pass I managed was 183mph. This was done with full aero, plus no side windows or hood to help streamline the body. Overall this weekends shakedown was a huge success. Super excited to continue growing with this machine 💪🏼

Victory has never tasted so sweet…over the last month we lived the definition of, “If it was easy, everyone would do it…” 😅😂
@rb_rpg , @wiredaddy.online , @ben_walther1 & myself have spent the last month working late into the night, every day, to build a brand new from the ground up race car.
We had our first successful fire up at 3:45 today, and 2hrs later put down 684hp on Rick’s Mustang Dyno! The tune up is very safe, running .82 lambda & 26 degrees WOT on ethanol based fuel.
I have just a few nights left to tinker on the chassis before we head to @thetexasmile to have a proper shake down 😎

MASSIVE update on the racecar. The dream team has been going hard completing the puzzle! @rb_rpg has done an amazing job fabricating the exhaust system and countless custom brackets to mount electrical components and modules. @wiredaddy.online is absolutely knocking it out of the park on the wiring side of the garage. Every detail of this car is being done with the highest attention to quality, while keeping serviceability in mind. We are building a true show car that happens to make 800+HP, and weighs 2,650lbs.
There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how pumped I am to see this dream come true ❤️
