I’ve done several Raya campaigns, and each time the challenge is always to explore new ways to capture the festive spirit. Like what makes Raya interesting?
This year, I wanted to focus on a moment many look forward to — the last nights of Ramadan, where preparations come alive while waiting for the anak bulan, marking the arrival of Raya.
It’s celebratory, chaotic, and a rhythm shaped by community, anticipation, and togetherness. To me, this is where Raya truly begins.

🗻Even though this was last year, it’s definitely one for the books. My first time doing graffiti, being surrounded by so many talented women graffiti artists & illustrators, and collaborating in pairs to create a piece over one weekend is an experience I won’t forget.
🐥Grateful to @miyoyukiko for being an incredible mentor and teaching me how to spray my first wall, to the graffiti community there for helping me get my lines straight (straight line clip 📸 @abdulrashade ), and to @kos_kreations for inviting me to such a thoughtfully packed event.j
