LONG POST WARNING! What a crazy 3 days working on the Nova @reissracing . George and I started by driving up to @tci_engineering to pick up a Pro Touring C10 truck frame for one of his customers. We messed up @slow3dr production shoot with Mike Hamrick from Wilwood brakes, SORRY guys thanks for the laughs! Jason gave me a quick tour of the facility, which is amazing. It was very cool to see the men and women who design and fabricate these parts that allow our cars to do insane lap times. Next was a quick stop by the engine shop to discuss some 421 stroker details. The next 2 days are sanding, priming, sanding, patching, priming and more sanding. The car is now painted and looks amazing. I cant wait to see it cleared in the sun, it's going to be insane . Last but not least, I got to meet and help @jon_henson install a new @tremecperformance TKX in his badass 69 Camaro. Nice to see this weapon back on the streets. Sorry no pics go check out his page. It's a long post, I know. I've said it before, but there is something special about these cars and the people they carry. I continue to meet and develop relationships with badass people because of some 58 year old car. It's a great journey. Thank you for coming along.

Downbars mounted, which required a new clutch reservoir bracket and relo. Intake tube installed which required a PS reservoir brackets mod, and relo. Sway bar straightened, brackets flipped upside down and reinstalled. Im shocked some kind of reservoir wasn't in the way 🤣. Removed the BR30 pads and installed the new BP-22 ceramic pads from Wilwood. Went for a rip and the rear brake line is still getting wet. Stopped by @sdhq and grabbed some 3AN brake hoses. Headlights, 2 more mufflers, and maybe a hood this weekend! #protouring #chevynova #racecar #scca #ls

What an absolute whirlwind at @holleylsfest ! 🏁 I’m still buzzing from a weekend that felt like a total fever dream. Huge thanks to the crew at @reissracing —George, John, Cody, Jason—the hustle to get this car off the lift and straight onto the trailer was insane. After 4 days of hustle and a midnight drive to Vegas, we made it to the grid with literally minutes to spare. We battled broken starters, gas leaks, and two flat tires right out of the gate on Autocross, but the racing family stepped up like always. 🛠️ Special shoutout to Jose and Cody for the track-side saves (congrats Jose on beating me in 3S—it’s on next year! 😉) Thank you to Jason, Sal, Evan, Andy and the whole crew at TCI Engineering for the top-tier products and race support. To my racing family across AZ, Cali, Nevada, and Idaho: thank you for every hand you’ve had in this Nova. I couldn't have done this with out you. I love building this Nova with George and the crew at Reiss Racing. The environment is dripping with badass cars ALL THE TIME. We pulled the engine from Sabotage and i gotta say it was thought provoking. George has worn out the shocks hauling hardware back to Escondido in this truck. I have a ton of memories riding ballast boy and I cant wait to do it again when it returns. This old iron is cool to build and race and all, but the people are the real draw. Time to clean up the engine, top it off with some fresh #fitech goodies and i troduce it to the Nova. Oh yeah, 13 days till Del Mar, hope to see you there.

Up till yesterday , Crescendo has only been a perfectly massaged body with an immaculate paint job. This weekend it became a rolling chassis with a custom bluetooth steering linkage. 😆 I'm pretty sure we have the wrong rear shocks causing the stink bug. The rear of the car swallows a 315 tire, how much are 345 Yokes?  T-minus 40 days till she will be driven in anger at LSFest..... #reissracing #camt #protouring #restomod #chevynova
