Built by @mikegoldmancustoms , this #TREMECequipped 1961 Chevrolet Impala sedan (not a bubbletop) is a clean, understated build done right.
Originally a factory 348 W-motor/Powerglide car, it retains the 348 while upgrading to a TREMEC TKX 5-speed transmission. Suspension, brakes, and A/C have been modernized, while the original interior remains intact.
And it’s no trailer queen—the car was driven from Meridian, Mississippi, to Orange Beach, Alabama, for Bama Coast Cruisin 2026.

The special edition Trans Am WS6 featured performance upgrades to maximize output from its 5.7L LS1 V8 and was available with the legendary TREMEC TR-56 6-speed transmission, first introduced in the 1993 fourth-gen F-body.
