Since recently getting back into vinyl purchasing it’s brought back a lot of happy memories from the 90s when I used to hunt for tracks and getting excited when I stumbled across something I wanted or looking for. Picked up a load of vintage disco today and a lot of these are all tracks that I still play digitally now.
I forgot the buzz of record digging. Buying an MP3 certainly doesn’t t have the same excitement even if it’s a track that’s brand new.

This New Years Eve I shall be at @wallop.me in Prestwich from 7pm till late. Playing all the good stuff and a few suprises! Bring your dancing shoes and get there early. If Xmas eve was anything to go by there will be huge queues to get in! Will be hard for me to select what tracks to actually play in my 2 hour set from the 90s as there we so many amazing dance tunes from that decade. From Rave to Handbag House to Trance I loved it all! Finding 24 tracks will be troublesome for me to play as I could play over a hundred easy!
Over half the tickets are already sold on Skiddle so should be a busy one.

So many different events spanning lots of venues across Prestwich all guaranteed to be fun, inclusive and a wonderful atmosphere.
At @wineandwallop_prestwich we kick our proceedings off with an outside Garden party with some incredible selectors. Kicking things off at 2pm is local Disco Queen @dj_justjane from the famed @tmtcprestwich Then we are very lucky to have a DJ I’ve known for quite some time who plays all over the UK and Europe and making her Prestwich Pride debut @roisindj who shall be soundtracking 4pm - 6pm and closing outside.
We then move inside where my good self shall be playing disco classics and anthems from 6pm till close.
