When Annie first moved to the United States, she was given a subscription to Midwest Living as a wedding gift. The magazine inspired her and was a fun introduction to local culture. Over the years, magazines continued to pile up in our downtown apartment.

1. Street Salad (Thai Papaya Salad or Som Tom Thai) - Hand-chopped green papaya, sweet corn, tomato, candy shrimp, toasted peanuts, + fish sauce, lime and peanut dressing.
2. Khao Soi - Coconut curry noodle soup hailing from
Northern Thailand. Egg noodles with a rich and spicy coconut broth garnished with red onion, pickled mustard greens and cilantro + crispy egg noodles
3. Son In Law - An ancient Thai dish with modern appeal. Hard-boiled eggs deep-fried until blistered then drizzled with sweet and sour tamarind and fish sauce. Garnished with crispy fried shallots, herbs, pickled cucumber, Thai pepper.
