Naso Highlights 🌟 ‘In Good Company’ CLOSING TODAY at Rizq Art Initiative in Abu Dhabi, UAE 🇦🇪 Organized by @thaer.select & @rizqartinitiative If you are in Abu Dhabi, make sure not to miss this wonderful show featuring incredible artists that have been interviewed by the journal in the past. 💫 At first glance, the show reads as a broad constellation of artists, emerging and established, local and international, brought together under a shared title. But the strength of In ‘Good Company’ is not just in its roster. The short exhibition reminds us that community in art is not a slogan. It is built through repeated gestures through shared space, mutual visibility, and the willingness to be seen alongside others without hierarchy.

Al Tarr Caves in Mirage Exhibition on display at @erth.uae until 27th of December 2025 Curated by @vertygo.art @thaer.select Mirage defines deception: an oasis that does not exist, a vision too distant to reach. It is the birth and rebirth of dreams, the tribal dance that captures the mind. It is the setting of absolute desolation, and yet the caravan lines glimmer in the distance, drawn across a horizon that is but sand dunes and heat. 1- Stone Protocol , 2021 UV print on Aluminium 32.16 x 45 cm 2-Memory code, 2021 UV print on Aluminium 29.7 x 21 cm 3-Light Sediment, 2021 UV print on Aluminium 29.7 x 37.1 cm 4-Shadows of Karbala, 2021 UV print on Aluminium 54.7 x 30.8

TOMORROW IN ABU DHABI: A month after a major group show in Paris, @Thaer.Select is back on home grounds - opening “Mirage” at @Erth.UAE Hotel Abu Dhabi. Curated by Nicolò Venelli (@nico.venelli ), founder of @Vertygo.Art , “Mirage” brings together 18 artists based in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the broader MENA region, Europe, and beyond. The exhibition is set in a historical venue: the recreational facilities for the UAE Armed Forces, built by the late H.H. Sheikh Zayed in 1983. Amongst participating artists, we recognize familiar names of the emerging UAE art scene: Amir Hazim (@aimhazi ), Roudhah Al Mazrouei (@roudhahamad ), Samo Shalaby (@samo_shalaby ), Talal Al Najjar (@talalnajjar ), and Ziad Al Najjar (@ziadnajjar_ ), amongst others. From Saudi Arabia, works from Ahmad Sofi (@ahmadsofi93 ), Latifa Al Bokhari (@latifaya ), and Hayfa AlGwaiz (@hayfa_algwaiz ) will be on view. From Europe, paintings from HazzA (@hazza._____ ), and Angel De Leon (@angeldeleon.jpg ) are back after showing with Thaer Select last year at MamarLab. Thinking back to how he started his residency and exhibition platform, @nico.venelli reflects: “the idea behind Vertygo was in poetry, you know? To platform and promote a new wave of contemporary art. Since starting, everything has been prose, a non-stop making spree - Mirage exemplifies this exactly.” 🔗 continue reading the full article, linked in bio 📆: Mirage opens tomorrow, November 20th at @erth.uae Abu Dhabi, opening reception from 5pm to 8pm. RSVP via @thaer.select (or just pull up, AUH style). #WhatsOnAbuDhabi #AUH #ThaerSelect #Vertygo #Mirage #ErthAbuDhabi

Join us Monday November 10th @nyuabudhabi for Relics of Tomorrow - a show curated by @moustafa.ig (@thaer.select ) with guidance from @nadaammagui (@sharjahart ) ! Relics of Tomorrow gathers artists who reimagine today’s technologies and images as the artifacts of an age that once believed itself to be the future. The exhibition reflects on how screens, signals, and networks will one day stand as traces of our hopes, fears, and fragile connections. Anchored by @talalnajjar ‘s Future Artifacts, the show unfolds through works that treat the digital present as an archaeological site. @hayfa_algwaiz explores intimacy through the architecture of the screen; @basmah_felemban overlays faith and technology through augmented reality; @roy.dest envisions nature reclaiming the ruins of the digital; and @ashaysbhave transforms the SIM card into a symbol of identity in flux. Together, their works propose a moral futurism - one that resists despair and reclaims cosmopolitanism as our last shared horizon. In imagining otherwise, Relics of Tomorrow insists that care itself is a form of futurity.

“Mélange is the mixing, is the action of taking different items and combining them together. Mélange is the coming together of distant realities, overlaying and exchanging memories and beliefs. From the artist selection to the gallery collaboration, the show is a celebration of both the similarities that bring us together and the differences that set us apart,” reflect Moustafa Thaer (@moustafa.ig ), founder of @Thaer.Select , and @Saam.Niami , co-founder of @WardGalleryNYC . Showing in Paris during Art Week was an intentional choice. “Mélange reflects the spirit of the city itself, a crossroads where cultures converge and artistic practices intermingle. By situating the exhibition in Paris during Art Basel, the project becomes part of a larger dialogue, allowing audiences to encounter new perspectives,” share Thaer and Niami. Seeing the installation unfold over a few days of Paris Art Week frenzy, this feels like history in the making. Showing right in front of the most established art fair, this grouping of friends – old and new – is a takeover by a new generation of half-halfs, born-here-grew-up-there artists. We speak a mix of French, English, and Arabic – yalla habibi is heard as often as merci. On her way to Paris, @Hayfa_AlGwaiz reflects: “I’m truly grateful. I was emotional on the plane ride today. I was listening to a podcast that was talking about how a tree is as strong as the forest it exists in. We’re all interconnected. In this moment, I feel like I belong in a very powerful, a strong forest.” ✍️ @sophiemayuko 📸 @latifaya & @aimhazi 🔗 read the full article via the link in bio

Last day to visit Mélange, the must-see group show of this Paris art week. As an independent initiative, relying on a hyper-collaborative network, this opening was one of the most-talked-about satellite group shows of the week. While @Thaer.Select presents some of the most exciting voices of the emerging Gulf art scene including Amir Hazim (@aimhazi ), Christopher Joshua Benton (@christopherjoshuabenton ), and Hayfa AlGwaiz (@hayfa_algwaiz ), Ward presents some New York’s rising stars Gala Prudent (@blackdonaldjudd ) and Dean Majd (@deanmajd ). Mélange is also showing works on loan from various galleries of @Miles.Greenberg , @ZainabAlshibani and @GeorgeRouy . The idea to collaborate sprung when @Saam.Niami , Ward’s co-founder, met Thaer Select’s founder Moustafa Thaer (@moustafa.ig ) in Dubai last March during the annual art season of the UAE. With similar interests to foster future voices of a diversified, changing art world, they aligned on the vision of the exhibition. 🔗 read more via the link in bio ✍️: Sophie Mayuko Arni @sophiemayuko 📸: Latifa Al Bokhari @latifaya
